Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

Customer means any person who engages the services of Shine FX orally, in writing, or through the website shinefx.com.au.

Services means the detailing services selected by the Customer, including:

Individual Services: Maintenance Wash, Interior Detailing, Exterior Detailing.

Packages: Signature Detail, Prestige Detail, Elite Concours, and any other services offered by Shine FX from time to time.

Website means shinefx.com.au.

Loss means any damage, loss, liability, expense or cost whether direct or indirect, consequential or incidental.

General

Shine FX agrees to supply the Services to the Customer in a professional manner, with due care, skill and diligence, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Service Delivery

• Shine FX will attend the Customer's nominated address to undertake the Services.
• Shine FX will use its best endeavours to arrive within 1 hour of the nominated booking time. Shine FX may vary the booking time at its discretion, to another time suitable with the Customer.
• The Customer must ensure the nominated address has a suitable location on private property where services can be performed safely.
• Shine FX may require access to water and electricity unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.
• The Customer must remove all personal belongings from the vehicle prior to the commencement of the service. Shine FX is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
• Shine FX is not liable for any loss or claim arising from late arrival or inability to perform services due to an unsafe or unsuitable location.
• Whilst every precaution will be taken, Shine FX is not responsible for any damage that may occur as a result of works performed outside the scope of the selected service package.

Bookings and Deposits

All bookings are made through shinefx.com.au. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking, processed securely through Square. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service on the day.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Shine FX may charge a cancellation fee of between $50 and $150 if the Customer cancels within 24 hours of the booking time. If a Customer wishes to reschedule, their deposit will be applied toward the future booking. Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance are accepted at no additional charge. Weather Policy

In the event of rain or severe weather conditions, Shine FX reserves the right to reschedule the appointment at no cost to the Customer. We will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternative time.

Photography and Social Media

The Customer agrees that Shine FX may take photographs and videos of the vehicle before, during and after the service for use in Shine FX's marketing portfolio and social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Vehicle registration plates will be obscured and no identifying information about the Customer will be published without their consent. If the Customer does not wish to have their vehicle photographed, they must advise Shine FX prior to the commencement of the service.

Sundays and Public Holidays

Sunday bookings are available upon request only and are subject to availability. Please contact us directly to arrange a Sunday appointment. Additional charges may apply for public holiday bookings.

Limitation of Liability

• The Customer is responsible for making Shine FX aware of any fragile components or pre-existing damage to the vehicle prior to the commencement of services.
• If the Customer alleges that Shine FX has damaged the vehicle, the Customer must provide evidence of the vehicle's condition prior to the service.
• Shine FX will not be responsible for pre-existing damage to the vehicle, valuable items left in the vehicle, safety or mechanical elements of the vehicle, or damage to surrounding property such as driveways or lawns.
• To the maximum extent permitted under the Australian Consumer Law, Shine FX's liability is limited to either re-supplying the Services or the payment of the cost of having the Services supplied again by an alternative provider.
• Shine FX's total liability for any loss or claim is limited to the price paid for the Services.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the result, please contact us within 24 hours of the service and we will address your concerns at no additional charge.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. By engaging Shine FX's services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Changes to Terms

Shine FX reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
